The NHRA Winston Pro Stock Truck season is four races away from being completed. The Pro Stock Trucks will race at Heartland Park (Topeka, KS), Memphis Motorsports Park (Memphis, TN), Texas Motorplex (Ennis, TX) and Pomona Raceway (Pomona, CA) before their third full season is put into the record books.

John Coughlin is coming off of a runner-up finish at the U.S. Nationals, NHRA's most prestigious event. He is currently No. 3 in the NHRA Winston points. John has 631 points and is 251 points away from the No. 2 spot. John has one win (Sears Craftsman Nationals) and a runner-up (U.S. Nationals) finish so far this season.

"Our entire program has grown leaps and bounds this year," said John. Richard Maskin and his staff at DART Machinery have been busy finding improvements under the hood. Nick Iarussi, Wayne Perdue, Rick Rossiter and Ed Tickle have all been busy putting in the time that it takes to be a contender at every race. We all have high expectations for these last four races!"

Mike Coughlin has made a late season charge. He is resting in the No. 8 position with 411 points. Mike is 167 points from taking over the No. 4 spot. Coughlin qualified No. 1 for the first time in his career at the U.S Nationals and has one runner-up finish (Moto1.Net Nationals) so far this season.

"We were hurt by our lack of consistency in the early races this season," said Mike. "Since then we have turned around and been a competitive threat at every race. We finished No. 4 last year and my goal is to keep that sticker on my truck for next year."
