Don Prudhomme Racing Presents The 2nd Annual Snake Racing Open House

WHAT: Don Prudhomme Racing opens its doors to drag racing fans throughout Southern California during the Second Annual Snake Racing Open House. Both of Snake's 2000 NHRA Winston Drag Racing Series entries - the Miller Lite top fuel dragster and the U.S. Tobacco funny car - will be on display to the public. Fans will also have the rare opportunity to see several of Snake's legendary cars, Larry Dixon's newly restored 1995 Miller Genuine Draft dragster and Ron Capps' 1999 Copenhagen Chevy Camaro, as well as over 100 hot rods from local car clubs. Music, food and the chance to purchase Snake Racing merchandise, will also be available.

WHO: Legendary NHRA driver, turned team owner, Don "Snake" Prudhomme will be on hand to sign autographs, as well as his young gun drivers Ron Capps (U.S. Tobacco funny car) and Larry Dixon (Miller Lite top fuel dragster). Funny car crew chief Ed "Ace" McCulloch along with dragster head wrench Dick LaHaie and the crew members of both teams will also be on hand to meet fans and answer questions about the cars.

DIRECTIONS: From the south - take I-5 north, exit Palomar Airport Road, go east for 5 miles, left on Business Park, left on Distribution Way. From the north - take I-5 south, exit 78 FWY East, go east 8 miles and exit at Sycamore, go south for 2 miles, turn right on Business Park and left on Distribution Way. Street parking is available.
