Millican, the number 10 qualifier, began his day with a holeshot win over number seven qualifier Doug Kalitta. "I just got lucky on that run," said Millican. "My head was saying 'go' and luckily I was able to get the holeshot win. I have to give a lot of credit to this 104+ Performance Additives team. They have been great all weekend long and I couldn't ask for a better crew."

Millican, the 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 IHRA Top Fuel Champion, finished the weekend with his third quickest E.T. and second fastest miles per hour mark, 4.519 seconds and 329.91 mph, which he achieved during Saturday's qualification rounds.
The next scheduled NHRA race for Millican and Team 104+ Performance Additives is the O'Reilly Spring Nationals in Houston, Texas, on April 8-10. Millican is scheduled to race in at least five NHRA national events this season, and it is likely that more events will be added as the season progresses. In addition to his NHRA schedule, Millican will also race for a fifth consecutive Top Fuel title on the IHRA circuit with Team Werner.
