Indianapolis, Indiana (Nov. 7, 2006) -- Cruz and Tony Pedregon today announced GREAT STUFF has signed a major associate level sponsorship extension with Pedregon Racing. GREAT STUFF, the No. 1 brand of insulating foam sealant in the world, will continue to fly their GREAT STUFF colors on the Advance Auto Parts and Q Power NHRA Funny Cars, respectively.
Cruz Pedregon, driver of the Advance Auto Parts Monte Carlo, and Tony Pedregon, pilot of the Q Racing Monte Carlo, will continue to have the GREAT STUFF logo prominently located on their NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series Nitro Funny Cars as well as on other team elements.
"We are extremely pleased with our relationship with the Pedregon Racing. Their winning team is a great joy to work with, watch throughout the NHRA season and a great partner who helps promote the GREAT STUFF brand," said Jeff Fancher, Global Brand Manager. "Not only do Tony and Cruz help us reach the Hispanic market, but they also help us reach our intended target of do-it-yourselfers and construction professionals in a fun, fast and exciting manner."
"Since we partnered with GREAT STUFF a couple years ago, Tony and I constantly have fans that come up to us and share all the different ways they use GREAT STUFF in their home," stated Cruz Pedregon. "I knew drag racing fans are do-it-yourselfers, but I did not realize how many ways in which they could use GREAT STUFF. GREAT STUFF is a perfect match for our loyal race fans."
GREAT STUFF, manufactured by The Dow Chemical Company, is an insulating foam sealant used to make the home more comfortable and energy efficient. Available at all home improvement and hardware stores, using GREAT STUFF to fill the gaps, cracks and holes around the home is a quick and easy project for both seasoned and new do-it-yourselfers.
