KRISTEN WOOTTON TO BE PROTECTED BY METTLE ARMOR IN 2010
Sandy, Utah -Magnolia, Texas resident and rookie Top Alcohol Dragster competitor Kristen Wootton and the Wootton Racing team is proud to announce a marketing partnership with METTLE ARMOR 70 wt Racing Oil for the entire 2010 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. The partnership will commence as Wootton will make her debut driving a 4000 horse power injected nitro-methane A/Fuel Dragster next weekend during the NHRA O'Reilly Auto Parts Springnationals contested at Houston Raceway Park in Baytown, Texas.
"I am very thankful to the staff at Combustion Technologies USA for supporting our new team for the 2010 NHRA season," noted Wootton, the mother of two children ages 11 and 2 and wife of ADRL Pro Extreme Driver Don Wootton. "We've been running their Z-Alt 10X Oil Booster in Don's ADRL Pro Extreme Camaro this season and it's amazing how well it enhanced the oil we had bought to use to begin the season. Our crew chief Joe Monden said he had never seen an oil additive protect all the engine parts like this before. We were replacing a few rod bearings on each run before using the Z-Alt 10X Oil Booster and after 3 runs at the ADRL race last month all the bearings looked good as new. This METTLE ARMOR 70 wt Racing Oil works great and we hope to put our METTLE ARMOR A/Fuel Dragster in the show at my first ever race."
"We wanted to get the best value possible for marketing our new CleanBoost® PERFORMANCE MOTOR OILS product line in 2010 and teaming up with Don and Kristen Wootton gave us the best bang for our buck," noted Tim Charlet, Director of Sales and Marketing for Combustion Technologies USA, LLC. "Kristen is beginning her driving career in one of the most powerful NHRA Sportsman category cars out there. She really impressed us during her licensing runs last month especially when she calmly got the car stopped after a parachute failure on her first full pass. Kristen is extremely marketable, a naturally talented driver and will be a great spokesperson for METTLE ARMOR for years to come."
