RAIN WASHES OUT RACING ON SUNDAY
Day-long rain showers forced the postponement of the O'Reilly Mid-South Nationals, at Memphis Motorsports Park, on Sunday.
Eliminations are now scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
Tim Wilkerson will face teammate Bob Tasca in round one, while Daniel Wilkerson will face Ron Capps.
Tim Wilkerson:
"All of a sudden, Capps became all worried about Daniel's education. He said an education is the most important thing in a young person's life, and that Daniel should absolutely not miss school on Monday just to be in a drag race. That was pretty funny, but we'll let the kid play hooky this time. This weather was just miserable today, so hopefully things are a lot better on Monday and we can get the whole race in without any more delays."
