Strong finish is what Troy wants

Troy Coughlin has made a charge toward breaking into the top-ten. In the last six races Troy has scored a runner up, two-second round appearances, two-first round losses and a DNQ.

"The group that we have now working on my car is doing a good job," explained Troy. "Everyone communicates well with each other and we are starting to see some consistency come back. Our in-house engine program has gained strength across the board and that's exciting. We are focused on having a strong finish this season and start next year where we left off."

Troy and his Jeg's Mail Order Chevy Cavalier are now sitting in the No. 13 position in the NHRA POWERade Pro Stock championship. He has 628 points and is 155 points from breaking into the top-ten. A strong performance at the AC Delco NHRA Nationals could put him on the verge of breaking into the top-ten at the final event of the season.

"We need to do our job as a team for the rest of the year and hopefully a little luck will help out along the way," said Troy. "Having back-to-back strong outing at the next two races could really set the tone for next year."
