Bradford Improves While "Under the Weather"

Despite waking at 5:00 am "Sick as a dog," Tom Bradford improved to a 7.085 on the Balbayis Asset Consulting/Hal's Speedshop Buell on a rainy day that limited Saturday NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle qualifying to one round in Chicago.

qualifying round 3
"We were out fighting rain delays one right after another," said Bradford. "Even in the middle of the round it got delayed. It was a long, tough day. I did everything I could just to make the one pass, and it was our best qualifying pass so far. It put us on the bottom side of the ladder and we'll be going up against Antron Brown."

Brown's sixth place 7.073, compared to Bradford's 7.085, shows just how tight this field is. "Hopefully, I'll feel better and be able to give it my all and do well," finished Tom.
