JOLIET, Ill. (Saturday June 2) - Team DBP driver Greg Stanfield and Bart Price, have both qualified for the 4th Annual Lucas Oil Products NHRA Nationals in Chicago, Ill.

Stanfield ran a 7.459 / 181.18 mph in the fourth session of qualifying to place his truck in the seventh slot on Sunday's eliminations ladder. Price, also in the fourth session, drove his S-10 to a 7.491 / 179.76 mph to secure the 12th position.

"I think we are going to be all right tomorrow," said Stanfield. "Slowly but surely we are getting back to the way we ran in Houston. When you get behind like we did, it takes a lot of work to come back around. We have done the work and it is beginning to pay off.

Team owner and driver Bart Price talked about the teams' steady resurgence and what he has to look forward to on raceday.

"We have a few more things to sort out," said Price. "Greg and the guys have been working their tails off to get us back where we should be. We are not all the way back where we would like to be, but it is coming."

Eliminations at the 4th Annual Lucas Oil Products NHRA Nationals will take place on Sunday June 3 at 11:00 AM CST.
