Two solid runs for Jeg

Jeg Coughlin Jr ran a 6.855 at 200.44 mph during the opening qualifying session. The JEG'S Mail Order Chevy Cavalier was in the top-five at every incremental point on the track to 1000-feet. Jeg landed in the No. 7 spot with three scheduled qualifying sessions to improve his position.

"We made a decent run right out of the trailer," said Jeg. "There is plenty of room to improve in the back-half of the track. We will work on cleaning up this run and tune from it to improve our qualifying position and get us ready for race day."

In the second qualifying session Jeg crossed the finish line running a 6.892 at 199.67 mph. He made the 15th quickest run of the session and stayed in the No. 7 spot.

"The run felt very tight from the seat," explained Jeg. "We now have two good runs to tune from for tomorrow. It will be important for us to make a good run in the third session tomorrow morning."
