SONOMA, Calif. (July 30) -- Jeg's Automotive, Inc. announced today they would begin paying contingency in the Pro Stock Bike class effective this weekend at the NHRA Fram Autolite Nationals. Jeg's now posts contingency in every class that competes in the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series. The winner will receive $500, a runner-up $100 and a semifinalist will earn $50.

"We are pleased to add the Pro Stock Bike class to our contingency program in the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series," explained Jeg's Director of Motorsports Scott Woodruff. "When we announced the program to the drivers and team owners there was a lot of excitement about Jeg's supporting the Pro Stock Bike class. It's great to be so well received by the entire Pro Stock Bike class and we wish everyone the best of luck."

Jeg's Automotive, Inc., has been a leader in the high performance aftermarket industry for years. Jeg's was founded in 1960 by Jeg Coughlin, Sr and is based in Delaware, Ohio. The company motto is "Give the customer what they want, when they want it at the price that they want to pay and back it with the best customer service."

Mail order sales represent the largest portion of their business. A 200+ page color catalog is sent out six-times a year to over 10-million addresses across the world. Customers can place orders via a toll-free number (1-800-345-4545) or through the company's rapidly growing website (jegs.com).

In addition, the company has three retail locations in Columbus, Ohio, as well as a chassis division. The chassis division fabricates high performance components from the company's original location, near downtown Columbus.
