JEG'S Mail Order Racing Friday Pit Notes

Mike Coughlin/#28 Pro Stock Truck:

"My JEG'S Mail Order S-10 has been very predictable so far this weekend. We have been making performance improvements all weekend. Our team has a great handle on the truck and we are looking forward to first round tomorrow," said Mike. Mike ended up in the number eight spot and will have lane choice over David Spitzer in round one.

John Coughlin/#31 Pro Stock Truck:

John stated, "I couldn't be happier making the field in my second race. Our entire team has worked very hard to prepare for this race, and it's showing. Having a great team, my family, and the employees of JEG'S Mail Order behind us really helps." John will start from the number eleven position and will face off against John Lingenfelter in the battle of the mail order companies.

Pro Stock Truck Note:

Coughlin brother's Mike and John are on opposite sides of the ladder for the MacTools Gatornationals. This is the first time that the JEG'S Pro Stock truck Team has had the opportunity to have an all-JEG'S final in Pro Stock Truck. Keep in mind that the Pro Stock Team accomplished this extremely difficult task in the season opener, when younger brother Jeg beat Troy at the AutoZone Winternationls.

Jeg Coughlin, Jr/#2 Pro Stock:

Jeg noted, "we made a mistake on the set-up for the first session. The team learned from it and it showed when our efforts put the #2 JEG'S Mail Order Olds in the number five spot. Now we have a good baseline to work from for the remaining two sessions. Jeg currently is in the number five position, he was the second quickest and the fastest car of the second session.

Troy Coughlin/#24 Pro Stock:

"We went the wrong direction on our set-up. Having the two car team really plays into our hands in a situation like this," said Troy. Troy is on the outside looking in resting in the number thirty-six position. The team will use all the data from Troy and Jeg, Jr's car to help with the set-up for the sessions tomorrow.
