MOORESVILLE, N.C. (April 27, 2005) -- Award-winning wireless carrier SunCom announced a marketing partnership today with NHRA Pro Stock team Cagnazzi Racing.

The 200-mph Cagnazzi Racing Chevrolet Cobalt, driven by Erica Enders, will fly the SunCom colors at the O'Reilly NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals in Bristol, Tenn., April 29-May 1, and the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals at Atlanta Dragway, May 12-15.

"SunCom is a leading wireless service provider in the Southeast and is an industry leader in customer service," Victor Cagnazzi, team owner, said. "They truly get it, and we bring those same attributes to our sponsors in NHRA Pro Stock racing. We're a good match and we're proud to showcase the SunCom brand and further demonstrate its commitment to NHRA drag racing to hundreds of thousands of NHRA fans at the track and on the race broadcasts on ESPN2."

Cagnazzi Racing, headquartered in Mooresville, is a factory GM team. Last year in startup mode, Cagnazzi Racing finished an impressive 8th in the final NHRA POWERade point standings.

With this agreement, SunCom joins Cagnazzi Racing sponsors General Motors, Chicago Pneumatic, Livin' It, SportLite, Jeg's High Performance, Berger Chevy and Global Debt Services. More information is available at www.CagnazziRacing.com.
