White experiences disappointing weekend in Memphis

MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Sometimes you just have one of 'those' weekends where nothing seems to go right. The Bars Leaks/Etterman Racing Top Alcohol Funny Car team had one of 'those' weekends during this past weekends NHRA Division 4 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at Memphis Motorsports Park. Team driver Marc White cites that the team plans to put the weekend behind them and move on to the next event.

The team encountered heavy tireshake every run. That heavy tireshake finally put an end to their weekend in losing to eventual winner Kim Fritts in round one.

"There just isn't a whole lot good to say about this weekend," said White. "We killed a motor in qualifying, and just couldn't get down the track all weekend. The only thing good about this weekend is that it is over now. We'll put this behind us, and get this Bars Leaks hot rod back on track in Houston."

The next race for the team will be the O'Reilly Spring Nationals in Houston, April 10-13.
