Jason Line earns the No. 4 qualifying position After fourth consecutive win at Raceway Park

ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. (June 23, 2007) -- With his KB Racing LLC, Summit Racing Equipment Pontiac GTO displaying power and consistency, Jason Line earned the No. 4 qualifying position on the final Pro Stock qualifying ladder for the 38th annual NHRA ProCare Rx SuperNationals currently underway at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J.

Line's four elapsed times over the Raceway Park quarter-mile ranged from a best of 6.612 seconds to his slowest at 6.636 seconds. All his speeds were over the 209 mph mark.

Over the past three years, Line has owned the quarter-mile track at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park. The reigning NHRA POWERade Pro Stock champion, goes after his fourth consecutive win at Raceway Park when eliminations for the NHRA ProCare Rx SuperNationals begin tomorrow. He will square off against Jim Yates in the opening round. Yates qualified No. 13 with an elapsed time of 6.635 seconds.

Line has put his KB Racing LLC Summit Racing Equipment Pro Stock Pontiac GTO in the winner's circle at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in 2004 (over Kurt Johnson), 2005 (over Warren Johnson), and 2006 (over Dave Connolly), becoming the only Pro Stock driver to win three consecutive races at Raceway Park.

Line has been to three finals rounds in 2007, winning one. For his career he has 13 wins in 27 final rounds.

Going into eliminations tomorrow, after nine completed events, plus qualifying for the 38th annual NHRA ProCare Rx SuperNationals, Line is currently fourth in the NHRA POWERade Pro Stock point standings. With five wins this season in five final-round appearances Line's teammate, Greg Anderson, also in a KB Racing LLC Summit Racing Equipment Pro Stock Pontiac GTO leads the POWERade Pro Stock standings with 854 points. Line has 608 points, 246 points behind his teammate, who qualified No. 1.
