Will starts 15th in search for Supernationals title

ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. (June 17, 2006) -- Hillary Will drove her KB Racing LLC-owned, Kalitta Motorsports-managed Top Fuel dragster to the No. 15 spot on the final qualifying ladder for the 37th annual K&N Filters Supernationals at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J.

Will's best pass came in the Friday evening qualifying session, when she covered the quarter-mile in 4.641 seconds at 319.45 mph. She also had a 4.64-second pass in the final session today, as crew chief Jim Oberhofer readied the car for eliminations tomorrow.

In eliminations tomorrow, Will meets Bob Vandergriff, Jr. in the opening round. Vandergriff qualified No. 2 with an elapsed time of 4.546 seconds. The pair has faced off once before this season, with Vandergriff getting the win light in Gainesville.

Will begins her quest for the K&N Filters Supernationals Top Fuel title on Sunday, June 18, with eliminations for all classes beginning at 11 a.m. All times are local Chicago time (CT) and subject to change at anytime.

ESPN2 will air same-day television coverage of eliminations for 37th annual K&N Filters Supernationals from 4-7 p.m. (Sunday, June 18).
