HALLSVILLE, Tex - Competition Eliminator driver Greg Hoguewill be looking to make a splash in Division 4 Competition Eliminator behind the wheel of Kirk Manuel's Caliber Collision Centers/GM Performance Parts D/Econo Dragster at this weekend's Division 4 Federal Mogul Drag Racing Series race at Hallsville Raceway in Hallsville, Texas.

The Irving, Texas driver will be looking to improve on his runner-up finish at last month's Memphis Division 4 FMDRS event, thanks to some new found horsepower by engine builder, and former Eddie Hill Crew Chief, Al Weiss.

"We are definitely looking to win and move up in the Division 4 standings. We took the motor back to Al Weiss' dyno in Wichita Falls, and found a few new horsepower, and also found the bugs we had in Baton Rouge," Hogue explained. "With the combination of the two, we should be a player in Hallsville."

Hogue is currently eighth overall in the division standings, but has only attended three races this year, as opposed to four as most of the front runners have.

Hogue said, "We should be up around third or fourth in the division standings right now if we could have made the first race in Houston. I think at the end of the year when things start to even up, we will be right in the thick of things at the top of the pack."
