New ROCKSTAR Toyota Solara Body Arrives Just in Time

DENVER, July 14, 2007 -- Jerry Toliver experienced the high of qualifying fourth overall -- his best this season -- and the low of running into the sand trap at the end the track -- all in several seconds in Saturday's final run at Bandimere Speedway.

Toliver was timed in 4.893 seconds at 319.60 mph and the ROCKSTAR Energy Drink Toyota Solara will start fourth Sunday in the Mopar Mile-High Nationals. He races Jim Head (13th, 4.946 at 299.60) in the opening round.

Toliver wasn't among the 16 starters when rain delayed qualifying for about 90 minutes. But the rain brought cooler temperatures and crew chief Dale Armstrong's tune-up took full advantage. "It was a great run," said Toliver. "The guys really stepped up. We've been close all weekend but we've been overpowering the track. The track came to us and we were able to get after it and get top speed."

The good news, Toliver said after assessing the Toyota's damage, "is that our new Solara body just arrived today (Saturday)."

And it will be ready for Sunday's opening round.
