ENNIS - Shuttle Parking Cancelled Motorplex Expands Parking Lot ENNIS, Texas - SUMMIT FastNews - The Texas Motorplex today announced the expansion of its free spectator parking lot with the addition of 450,000 pounds of gravel. Prior to today's running of the Revell Nationals the Texas Motorplex had added a free shuttle service from Waxahachie with plans to expand to the service to Ennis beginning tomorrow. During the course of the event today Motorplex officials brought in additional parking surface materials to add spaces for anticipated record crowds. "Our goal from day one was to make sure our fans did not have to wait to see the Revell Nationals presented by HiLo/O'Reilly Auto Parts. We established the shuttle service today and had a very smooth day of qualifying. Early in the day Billy Meyer (Texas Motorplex president and owner) decided rather than force the fans to use the shuttles we would expand our existing main lot to hopefully meet the projected crowds," said Ryan Haas, Texas Motorplex General Manager. "We still have the remote lots under contract and can get the shuttle system restarted with two phone calls if we see the need to reinstate the service for Sunday's eliminations," added Haas. Professional qualifying will begin at the Ennis super-track at 10 a.m. with the rescheduled first session of Pro Stock Trucks. This class was scheduled to have its first round of qualifying on Thursday but due to limited space in the pit area was moved to Friday morning. Top Fuel Dragster, Funny Car and Pro Stock professional classes will begin qualifying at 2 p.m. and return at 6 p.m. for the "Nitro at Night" portion of the Revell Nationals presented by HiLo/O'Reilly Auto Parts.
