Dallas, Texas. (Nov. 3) - Heavy rain canceled qualifying again today at the 15th Annual O'Reilly Fall Nationals in Dallas, Texas. Due to the rains officials of the National Hot Rod Association were forced to set the Pro Stock Truck field according to point's standings.

When eliminations get under way Brian "Lump" Self, driver of the Roof-Tec Chevrolet S-10, will assume the seventh spot on the eliminations ladder. In Round 1 Self will be paired against John Lingenfelter.

"We came here to race," said Self. "If this is the way NHRA wants to do it, that's the way it is going to be. NHRA had a tough decision to make, and they did the best that they could. Now we have to work with what they gave us.

"On points alone, we enter the race seventh. Whether or not we could have qualified better than seventh is up for grabs. Either way we will take it.

"I have (John) Lingenfelter in the first round. There are no easy rounds in this class, and Lingenfelter is a tough competitor. I will race him just like I race everyone else; I will give it everything I have.

"We came here to race, and that is what we are going to do tomorrow, race."

Weather permitting, eliminations will get under way at 11:00 AM CST on Saturday Nov. 4.
