McClenathan 15th at Motorplex FRAM Dragster Runs 4.645 Seconds

ENNIS, Texas, Sept. 21, 2007 -- Severe tire shake in Friday night's good qualifying session prevented Cory McClenathan from completing the second run in the best conditions of the day as the O'Reilly Fall Nationals began at Texas Motorplex.

"Our FRAM dragster shook real hard and I just shut it off," McClenathan said. "At least we did get down the track on the first run and we are in the top 16 right now."

Assistant crew chief Tony Shortall said the shake was caused by "an aggressive tune-up. We just missed the setup."

Two more qualifying runs are on tap Saturday.
