Bradford 4th in Points

Despite what Tom Bradford and The Sportsman Channel team consider as a mediocre performance so far from their bike, they leave Atlanta Dragway's round 3 event of the 2007 Pro Stock Motorcycle season fourth in the POWERade point standings and poised to make a move. "We are just consistently there to capitalize on others' mistakes, but this team does not like winning entirely on that alone," said Bradford.

Much of Bradford's racing luck this year has come at the expense of the Army team, and Atlanta was no different. This time, number 1 qualifier Angelle Sampey redlit badly and opened the door for Tom to advance.

Geno Scali nailed the tree in round 2 and there was no way on this particular day that Bradford's Buell was going to be able to catch him. "Quite honestly, our performance is lackluster and there is no sugar coating it," said Tom. "We are looking to test on Tuesday before we head to St. Louis to find out what exactly is going on with the bike.

"It was still a very, very positive weekend. You still have to be there to be able to capitalize on others' mistakes, and we've been there to benefit from that. I'm really upbeat about our advancement up from sixth to fourth in points. That's huge. If we can turn this performance around, we have a real opportunity."
