Jeg's Trucks are ready to return to the winner's circle

The Pro Stock Truck class will enter the Pontiac Excitement Nationals at the halfway point of their 14-race season. In this ultra-competitive class there is no room for error and every driver has to give it everything that they have if they want to win.

Mike Coughlin and his yellow and black Jeg's Mail Order Chevy S-10 will enter the eighth race of the season for the Pro Stock Truck class in the No. 9 position with 239 points.

"We are making solid runs each time we go down the track. This class is so competitive that you just can't make any mistakes or you will have a front row seat to watch your fellow competitors on raceday," said Mike.

John Coughlin will return to his home track where he won his first professional NHRA national event. He was the Pro Stock Truck winner in 1999. John has 145 points and is sitting in the 18 spot. A strong showing could boast John back into the top ten.

"We have made recent charge in our performance level and it is something that Team Jeg's is commented to continuing. The consistency is back in the Jeg's Chevy S-10 and we would like nothing more then to win in front of our hometown fans. When I won in 1999 the winner's circle picture was so big that everyone could not fit in the picture. Thinking about that day makes you want to win even more," explained John.
