CRAIG TREBLE COMMENTS ON RUNNING FOUR-WIDE IN CONCORD

CONCORD, N.C. (March 26, 2010) - Craig Treble rode the Valvoline Motorcycle Oils Suzuki Pro Stock Motorcycle to the No. 7 position after two rounds of qualifying in the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals. He posted his quickest pass of 6.991/189.04 in his second attempt.

"I botched up the second one. I thought I saw four blue lights on," he said of running four-wide for the first time using a different starting-lights system on the Christmas Tree. "There was only three on. And I came in and I put on the two-step and I was on it for a long time and I realized it was only three lights. Then when that fourth bulb finally did come on, I kind of reacted on it. And I was -.044 red, which was embarrassing, to say the least. I know what my problem was and it's an easy fix.

"It's different. It's a lot of lights going on and off up there and it looked like Vegas. It's a matter of getting used to it, that's all."
