Mooresville, N.C., Sept. 2, 2009 - Two-time defending NHRA Pro Stock Champion Cagnazzi Racing today announced the appointment of veteran motorsports executive Ken Cohn as their Senior Vice President. In this new capacity, Cohn will oversee a multitude of areas for the Mooresville, NC based organization, including team sponsorship, marketing, strategy, sales/business development and operations. In light of the challenging financial environment, team owner Victor Cagnazzi sees the pro-active addition of Cohn as a key to his company's continued success.

Cohn brings an expertise, based on an 18-year sports sponsorship career, to Cagnazzi Racing, highlighted by his work as a Vice President at noted sports marketing firm Millsport, as well as three years in NASCAR's Corporate Marketing office in New York City. During that time, his wide-ranging responsibilities have included strategic consulting, integrated marketing platform development, asset negotiation, promotional activation and program measurement/evaluation as well as client account management and new business development. Recently, he spearheaded Millsport's launch of the Motorsports DBI, the agency's proprietary NASCAR, NHRA & IRL driver index capturing fan perspectives across multiple brand-relevant attributes.
