The yellow and black colors of JEG'S Mail Order Racing will roll through the gates at Bristol Dragway with winning on their minds. NHRA's most dominate two-truck team wants nothing more then to follow in the foot steps of their Pro Stock counterparts who met in the final round last year of Pro Stock.

John Coughlin's recent win at the NHRA Sears Craftsman Nationals secured a position among the six pre-qualified spots for the 2nd Annual Winston Showdown. A total of two open qualifying positions remain and the battle will begin when NHRA's newest professional class invade Bristol Drag way.

"Being pre-qualified for the Winston Showdown and fresh off of a win takes a little bit of pressure off," stated John. "You cannot let up for a second in Pro Stock Truck. There are plenty of strong teams and good drivers."

A year after the first Winston Showdown race at Bristol Dragway drivers, teams and fans are looking forward to coming back this year. The facility has been on the top since it was built and it is a great place for Winston to showcase the sport of NHRA Drag Racing.

"I am really looking forward to racing at Bristol Dragway," said John. "Winston has done so much for the Pro Stock Truck class and our job is to put on a great show for Winston and the fans."

"Bruton Smith has really raised the bar for NHRA Winston Drag Racing," explained Mike. "Racing at a first class facility like Bristol Dragway is always uplifting to the drivers, teams, sponsors and most importantly the fans."
