Jeg posts Semifinal round appearance

Jeg and his JEG'S Mail Order Chevy Cavalier started race day focused on winning from the No. 4 qualifying position. The 33-year old second generation driver was looking to score back-to-back wins and head to the Mac Tools US Nationals with the kind of momentum it will take to successfully defend the NHRA POWERade Pro Stock championship down the home stretch.

Jeg disposed of Gene Wilson, Troy Coughlin and was beat by Kurt Johnson in the semifinal round. The margin of victory was .0276 seconds at the stripe.

"Our program had a solid weekend," explained Jeg. "We have some good momentum going into the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals. We had both cars firmly in the top-half of the field and neither car aborted a run all weekend. Things are going in the right direction for our program. All the guys did a great job this weekend."
