Jeg Coughlin Jr. earned his first Pro Stock victory at Houston Raceway Park in 1997 in just his second start. Coughlin qualified 14th and defeated Mark Osborne in the final round.
Jeg also won Pro Stock at the 1998 Houston race, defeating Tom Martino in the final and the 2000 Houston event, defeating Jim Yates in the final round.
As a sportsman racer, Jeg tallied his first win at Houston Raceway Park in 1994 when he drove his JEGS Mail Order entry to the Super Stock title.
Jeg enters the 2008 O'Reilly Spring Nationals as the current POWERade points leader in Pro Stock following his recent victory at the AC Delco Gatornationals in Gainesville, Fla. He currently leads second-ranked Jason Line by 46 points.
