RIVAS QUALIFIES TENTH DURING QUALIFYING AT SPRING NATIONALS

BAYTOWN, Tex., March 29, 2008- Chris Rivas rode the G2 Motorsports/Drag Specialties/S&S Cycle V-Twin Pro Stock Motorcycle into tenth qualifying position for tomorrow's 21st Annual O'Reilly NHRA Spring Nationals at Houston Raceway Park.

Electrical problems led to Rivas' 7.042 e.t. at 188.60 miles per hour, but have not dampened the team's sprits.

"It's frustrating for everyone because we haven't been able to identify the problem," said Rivas, the 41-year-old Fresno, Calif. native. "But we have some of the best minds in the industry working to figure it out, and I have no doubt that we'll work it out."

Crew chief of the G2 Motorsports/Drag Specialties/S&S Cycle V-Twin, George Smith, echoes Rivas' sentiment and is happy for the other S&S Cycle V-Twin's successes.

"Overall, the S&S Powered V-Twins are doing quite well. Unfortunately, today's results for our own G2/Drag Specialties/S&S Cycle V-Twin show that we've got more homework and preparation to do for tomorrow's race. I want to congratulate Matt Smith and Matt Guidera for their successes today," said Smith. The team intends to collectively work on the motorcycle tonight in preparation for tomorrow.
