COMMERCE, GA.- The learning curve is quickly being handled by NHRA Pro Stock Truck driver Steven Farr and the hopes are high for the new driver of the Jerry Haas Chevrolet S-10 at this weekend's Advance Auto Southern Nationals in Commerce, Ga. Farr made his debut as the driver of the high-profile chassis builder's entry at the recently completed Moto1.net Nationals presented by Chevrolet at Virginia Motorsports Park, located in Dinwiddie.

Former driver turned crewchief Haas is pleased with the progress that Farr has made is such a short time.

"With each run, Steven gets better," explained Hass, who finished tenth in last season's points chase among Pro Stock Truck competitors. "Losing that run on Friday at Richmond set us back just a little. However, we are not deterred and we will be at Commerce and be ready to win."

Farr echoes Haas in terms of confidence.

"I feel more comfortable with each run I make," explained Farr. "I'm appreciate the patience that Jerry has afforded me as well as the instruction that I feel has made all the difference in the world to helping me to get better."

Farr will get his opportunity to redeem from the DNQ at this weekend's NHRA Advance Auto Southern Nationals in Commerce, Ga. He will be afforded two qualifying runs on Friday and another two on Saturday. Final eliminations are slated for Sunday.
