COMMERCE, Ga. (Saturday May 5) - Pro Stock Truck qualifying at the 21st Annual Advance Auto Parts NHRA Southern Nationals is over, and Team DBP has two trucks in the show.

Team driver Greg Stanfield ran a 7.513 / 179.80 mph to capture the third position. Team owner / driver Bart Price ran a 7.573 / 178.21 mph to placed his truck in the 15th position on Sunday's eliminations ladder.

Stanfield fresh off his first win of the season in Gainesville, Fla. is excited about Sunday's eliminations.

"Bring them on," said Stanfield of Bossier City, La., "I'm ready to race right now.

"Tomorrow lane choice is not going to be a factor for us. I think the lanes are pretty even. Besides, we have proven that we can run out of either lane, so I am not worried about lane choice.

"As far as the heat goes, we are not going to worry about that either. It is going to be hot all summer, so I figure we better get use to racing in it.

"Tomorrow Bart and I will just have to take it a round at a time. Bart and I are on the same side of the ladder again at this race; that's bad. But he is also in a position to take out a couple of these guys who are in the points chase with me; that's good.

"Even if we end up racing each other tomorrow, we are still both racing on Sunday and that was our goal coming into this race. To have both trucks in the show on Sunday."

Eliminations at the 21st Annual Advance Auto Parts NHRA Southern Nationals will begin at 11:00 AM EST on Sunday May 6.
