Mike Coughlin/#28 Pro Stock Truck: "We made small advances all weekend with the performance of the #28 JEG'S S-10. I was just out run in the first round today by Tim Freeman, the entire team did there job all weekend," said Coughlin. Mike took of Tim Freeman in round number one of the NHRA Advanced Auto Southern Nationals. "We will focus on the Mopar Parts Nationals which is this coming weekend. The team will be ready in Englishtown."
John Coughlin/#28 Pro Stock Truck: John faced off against Mark Osborne in round number one. This was the third time out of five races that John had made the sixteen truck field. "I just did not do my job on the starting line. Had I done my job the win light would have been on in my lane," stated John. Mark Osborne took the win light on a holeshot. John ran a personal best ET of 7.62 in the first round. "I am feeling more at home in the truck and the performance of the truck is really coming around."
Troy Coughlin/#24 Pro Stock: Troy will start race day from the number eleven position and will line up next to George Marnell. "The testing that we did helped us, but we are still missing the setup. The good thing is that we have been making it down the track and that's what has been making the difference," said Troy.
Jeg Coughlin, Jr./#2 Pro Stock: This is the third straight DNQ's for Jeg Coughlin. "We just need a change, things are not working when they need to. The car showed signs of improvement when we tested earlier this week," stated Jeg.
