STOCKTON, Calif. - It did not take long for Austin Cameron to return to victory in NASCAR Grand National Division, Winston West Series competition. Cameron, who missed four races earlier this season while undergoing cancer treatment, dominated the competition at Stockton (Calif.) 99 Speedway on Saturday night to win the NAPA Auto Parts 200 by Dodge Country & Havoline.

The Stockton event was Cameron's second race since returning to competition last month.

After setting a track record in qualifying, he went on to lead 154 of the 207 laps. Cameron held on in a final two-lap dash to the finish after a late caution extended the race distance with a green-white-checkered finish.

Cameron won by .806 of a second over Steve Portenga, with Mike David finishing third. Fourth went to Brett Thompson, with Johnny Borneman taking fifth.
