WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah - Scott Lynch charged to victory in the NAPA 200 at Rocky Mountain Raceways in West Valley City, Utah, on Saturday night to become the first repeat winner this year in the NASCAR Grand National Division, Winston West Series.

Lynch, who started on the outside of the front row, faded early and spent most of the 200-lap event working his way back to the front. He took the lead 12 laps from the finish and won by .502 of a second.

C.T. Hellmund finished in the runner-up spot, followed by Mark Reed and Steve Portenga, who continues to lead the championship standings over Lynch. Finishing fifth was Scott Gaylord. Rounding out the top 10 were Mike Duncan, Tim Woods III, Brett Thompson, Austin Cameron and Jim Inglebright.

Lynch became the first repeat winner in the series this season, with eight different drivers winning the first eight events.
