Notes of interest:

Shawna Robinson and Scott Riggs will make their first ever Winston West starts on Saturday at LVMS.

Hershel McGriff, 72, will become the oldest driver to race on the speedway's 1.5-mile superspeedway.

This is the second stop this year for the Winston West Series at LVMS. Mark Reed won on the 3/8-mile Bullring on Feb. 28.

Scott Riggs will pilot a Dodge in the race. It's Dodge's first race in Winston West in 15 years.

Robinson will be the first woman in 21 years to compete in a Winston West race.
