MONROE, Wash.-- Eric Norris collected his second NASCAR Winston West Series win of the year with a victory in the Coors Light 200 at Evergreen Speedway on Saturday night, roaring into the lead on the final lap as Austin Cameron ran out of fuel.

Norris, who led Cameron by 12 points in the championship standings leading into the event, had shadowed Cameron through the final stages of the race.

As the pair charged into the final lap, Cameron's car sputtered and slowed. Norris moved by on the outside and crossed the finish line with a margin of victory of 1.84 seconds over Johnny Borneman and Mike Duncan. Cameron's car coasted into the pits, leaving him with an 11th-place finish.

Ed Watson finished fourth, with Mike David in fifth.

With the victory, Norris extended his lead in the point standings to 834 to 782. (unofficial) <pre> COORS LIGHT 200 NASCAR Winston West Series Monroe, Wash. June 29, 2002
