BOWLES WINS GRAND NATIONAL WEST RACE IN UTAH

TOOELE, Utah (July 14, 2007) -- Jason Bowles continued the NASCAR Grand National Division's recent streak of hot rookie drivers by winning the West Series race at Miller Motorsports Park today.

Bowles averaged 70.384 mph over the 41 laps around the 3.06-mile road course. The victory earned him a berth in the Toyota All-Star Showdown at Irwindale Speedway at the end of the season.

Goodyear is the exclusive tire provider for the Grand National Division, which also includes the Busch East Series. The bias-ply tires Goodyear builds for the Grand National Division are designed and manufactured in Akron, Ohio, as is every Goodyear racing tire.

Alex Haase, another Grand National rookie, finished second to Bowles. Mike David, who leads the championship standings, was third. Johnny Borneman and Scott Gaylord rounded out the top five.

Bowles' victory margin was 3.5 seconds. David won the Bud Pole Award with a lap averaging 93.225 mph. Borneman is second in the standings, trailing David by 114 points.
