HARRAKA WINS SECOND STRAIGHT NASCAR K&N PRO SERIES RACE

ROSEVILLE, Calif. (March 29, 2010) -- Paulie Harraka completed a two-season bookend when he won the Toyota/NAPA Auto Parts Bonus Challenge race to open the 2010 racing season in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race at All American Speedway.

Harraka won the 2009 season finale at All American and then won the 2010 opener, giving him two consecutive wins in different seasons. The 20-year old driver started on the pole in the opener.

Goodyear is the exclusive tire provider for the K&N Pro Series East and West programs, as well as for NASCAR's Canadian Tire Series. The cars in the three series race on the same family of Goodyear bias-ply racing slicks.

Harraka led 125 of the 160 laps in the season opener, beating runner up Jonathon Gomez by just .569 of a second. Gomez and Harraka traded the lead four times during the race. Josh Combs finished third in his first series start, northwestern racing veteran Gary Lewis finished fourth in his first series start and David Mayhew took fifth.

The All American venue is a third-mile, high-banked oval.
