Lofton Anxious to Get Season Started

As the Lofton Racing hauler heads out to the Lone Star State for the season opener Allstate Texas Thunder 150 on March 31st, Justin reflects on what his expectations are for the upcoming schedule in the NASCAR Grand National Division West Series. "I'm really looking forward to this season, we have restructured our team and I am very excited to get back on the track" said the 21-year-old driver from Westmorland, CA.

"We have built two new cars which I am very comfortable in and I am confident they can help take us to the front. We have signed Rob Dixon on as crew chief, while long-time hill climb racer Gay Smith will be coming onboard as the team manager. I am certain they will succeed in bringing the Lofton Racing team into championship form," concludes Justin.

Lofton Racing has relocated their #66 Lofton Cattle Ford Fusion race shop to the Sacramento area during the off-season. JThe NASCAR Grand National Division West Series travels throughout nine different states this year. The schedule, which includes two combination races with the Busch East Series in May, will also showcase road-course skills at three different tracks and the drivers ability to adapt to the many new venues the series is visiting this year for the first time. Of course all Grand National Division competitors look forward to the NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown following the final points-race at the end of the season. The invitational event will be held for the fifth consecutive year at Irwindale Speedway in October.
