BMR's Veteran Driver looking for Podium Finish

Antelope, CA - Tempe, Arizona resident Moses Smith is looking to continue his climb to the top of the points standing in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West chase for the championship as the series next heads to Toyota Speedway in Irwindale, California. He is currently fifth in points and is closing in on the top-three.

The No. 16 car from Bill McAnally Racing has had great success at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale with nine wins (including the NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown). Smith and his crew chief, Mario Isola, look to put the No. 16 back in Victory Lane and give Toyota its first NASCAR K&N Pro Series West win at the speedway and give Hasa Pool Products its first West Series win.

At the Hasa team's last regular season visit to Toyota Speedway, Smith was knocking at the door of the top-ten on the time charts during the practices. In the heat of the day, Smith put the entry from Hasa Pool Products on the outside of row six to start the 200-lap race. With conditions changing as the temperature of the track continued to cool down, Smith moved into ninth to take the checkered flag.

The King Taco "200" is this Saturday night, July 3rd. The 200-lap race will be presented by SPEED Channel on Thursday July 15th at 3 pm PST. For ticket information please visit the track website, www.toyotaspeedway.com.
