LAKESIDE, CA -- Twenty-two-year-old NASCAR Elite Division, Featherlite Southwest Tour Series point leader Auggie Vidovich is looking to continue his point lead with a good finish at the SNAP-ON TOOLS / JELLY BELLY 200 race this Saturday at Infineon Raceway in the beautiful rolling hills of Sonoma, CA.

A handful of road course experts, including Vidovich whose resume includes championships in go karts and Rookie of the Year in the 1997 IRRA Toyota All American Stock Car Challenge at Willow Springs International Raceway where Vidovich finished 3rd in the series are hoping to take the honor of a win at the only road course for the NASCAR Elite Division, Featherlite Southwest Tour Series. Joining the NASCAR Elite Division, Featherlite Southwest Tour Series on the 1.949-mile 10-turn road course will be the NASCAR Winston Cup and TRANS-AM Series'.

"We have been able to remain competitive and get the finishes we need to stay in the hunt for the championship," replied Vidovich. We almost had a win last week at Irwindale but a tap by the leader on the final laps prevented Vidovich from getting his first win of the season with a 5th place finish helping to maintain Vidovich's points lead.

Vidovich continues to lead the NASCAR Elite Division, Featherlite Southwest Tour Series since the second race of the 2003 series season, now by 91 points with an average finish of 4th place for the past five races.

Don't forget to watch for the #59 Creative Touch Interiors, PG Series, Carquest, Ransom Brothers Lumber, No Fear, SOBE, Spy, Ron's Rear Ends, DPI, Sierra Brakes and CRS 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo when the SNAP-ON TOOLS / JELLY BELLY 200 (62-lap) race will be televised on FOX SPORTS NET June 30 thru July 6.
