LAS VEGAS - Las Vegas Motor Speedway and the Animal Foundation of Las Vegas have teamed up to help find homes for puppies.
Beginning with this Saturday night's racing card at The Bullring at LVMS, fans attending the event will be able to adopt puppies that will be brought to the facility from the Animal Foundation.
The puppies will be kept in a pen in the Chris Trickle Children's Park. Anyone wishing to adopt a puppy can pick out a dog at anytime during the evening. At the conclusion of the racing action, the new "parents" will be allowed to take their new pet home.
"This is a great example of two community partners coming together for a worthy cause," said David Stetzer, LVMS' director of short-track events. "Many of these dogs need to find homes, and we at Las Vegas Motor Speedway are just happy that we can be of assistance to the Animal Foundation in their quest to find homes for these puppies."
