AVONDALE, ARIZ. (November 10, 2005) NASCAR NEXTEL Cup veteran Ken Schrader out ran Matt Crafton to claim the NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division, Southwest Series finale at Phoenix Int'l Raceway Thursday afternoon. Dan Fredrickson, Tim Schendel, and Auggie Vidovich rounded out the top five finishers in the 125-lap Arizona Lottery sponsored event.
Jim Pettit II from Prunedale, Calif. clinched his second consecutive Southwest Series title with a ninth place finish joining Ron Hornaday and Steve Portenga as the only two time series champions.
