Dana Moore, of El Cajon, California finished in 6th place Saturday night at the season opener of Cajon Speedway. Moore and her new sponsor, Cuddeback Trailers of Lakeside, Ca. were happy with the finish. Actually, due to the indecisive weather they were happy just to race at all. Moore drove the Legends car to a clean finish on somewhat of a wet track. The rain went away for qualifying and then reappeared just before the main event. The rain fell down fairly good for at least a half-hour. The hope of racing was getting smaller and smaller for Dana Moore and the fans.

Someone must have been doing an Anti-Rain dance because all of a sudden the weather cleared and 45 minutes later the determined Cajon Speedway crew had the track about 80 percent dry. "It was a strange night. I was a little timid to pass because the water was seeping out from the infield down on the low line of the track. We have struggled with this track and I really wanted to be sure and have a good finish." Said Moore.

Although the night was a little wet it was a good start for the Cuddeback Trailer/Dana Moore Racing team. They had their best finish ever at Cajon Speedway. They hope to build off this finish and take home a win at the next event at Cajon Speedway. SBS
