THE DRIVE FOR DIVERSITY® PROGRAM RETURNS TO SOUTH BOSTON SPEEDWAY FOR DRIVER TESTING & EVALUATION COMBINE

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Oct. 2, 2006) --Twenty of the nation's best up and coming drivers will showcase their skills to team owners at the fourth annual Drive for Diversity Testing and Evaluation Combine October 16 and 17 at South Boston (Va.) Speedway.

The drivers will complete a series of on-track driving exercises in Grand National Cars and will also participate in interviews and other off-track activities to determine their overall motorsports knowledge and racing philosophy. The Drive for Diversity® affiliated team owners will then select drivers to compete for their teams within a NASCAR sanctioned series in 2007.

"The Drive for Diversity program has continued to evolve since its inception in 2003 and we are eager to discover where these talented individuals will help take the program during the 2007 season," said Greg Calhoun, president and CEO of Access Marketing & Communications.

Drivers invited to participate in the 2007 Drive for Diversity® Testing & Evaluation Combine will be selected from a competitive list of resumes submitted to Access Marketing & Communications, which manages the Drive for Diversity® Program, and will be announced in the near future.

"We are glad to serve as the host track for the Drive for Diversity® Testing & Evaluation Combine again this year," said Cathy Rice, General Manager of South Boston Speedway. "We had a wonderful experience last year and consider it an honor to be affiliated with such an exciting program."
