The NASCAR Elite Division, Kodak Southeast Series will race at Kentucky Motor Speedway on June 28 for the first time since 1988.

Daytona Beach, FL. (June 19 2003) - Fifteen years have passed since the NASCAR Elite Division, Kodak Southeast Series competed at Kentucky Motor Speedway .

Known as the NASCAR All American Challenge Series prior to 1991, the series has been a stepping stone for many future NASCAR stars with three well known Owensboro, Ky. natives very dominant on the series. All three have since moved on to other NASCAR Divisions.

Owensboro natives David, Mark and Jeff Green were all in the field the last time the series competed at Whitesville, in 1988, with Mark not only winning the Bud Pole Award but also the race. That was Mark's only career pole with the series.
