Hills Bros. All Pro Series, NASCAR Touring Southern National event falls victim to inclement weather.

KENLY, N. C. (September 14 2002) - The Hills Bros. All Pro Series, NASCAR Touring Hills Bros. 150 fell victim to inclement weather Saturday evening and was rescheduled for September 28.

The series will return to Greenville-Pickens Speedway for the Cintas 200 Saturday, September 21, for the event originally set for August 17. That event was also rescheduled due to inclement weather.

"We just want to get these events over," said Jeff Fultz, series points leader after the Southern National Speedway event was postponed. "These rainouts cost everyone money and we have had two almost back to back."

"David (Reutimann), Charlie (Bradberry) and myself know that the points championship is close and when we come to the track we are ready to race and not sit around. Just takes a little something out of everyone when there are delays."

Fultz holds a 101 point margin over Reutimann and a 134 point margin over Bradberry.

"Anything is possible," said Reutimann. "There are 540 points up for grabs so this championship is not over by a long shot."

"In fact I don't even want to think about the championship," commented Fultz. "I have been so close a couple of times and as they say, "it ain't over till the fat lady sings."

Whoever wins the series title this year has a trip waiting for them to New York City, along with other NASCAR Touring Series Champions, to attend the NASCAR Winston Cup Awards Banquet.
