Jeff Fultz scores third NASCAR Elite Division Kodak Southeast Series victory of 2003 with win at Ocala Speedway.

OCALA, FLA. (July 2 2003) - Jeff Fultz took advantage of a multi-car accident on lap 83 in turn four at Ocala Speedway Wednesday evening to put his C & C Boiler/Cleaver Brooks Chevrolet at the point and outdistance rookie sensation Justin Wakefield to win the Victory Junction 150. Fultz's margin of victory was over three seconds on the 3/8 mile D-shaped oval. David Reutimann led the first 82 laps that saw some very tight racing action between all front running cars.

However Reutimann's night ended when Brian Smith's car got into the back end of Reutimann's Pennzoil Chevrolet in turn four. Numerous cars spun to avoid series damage including series points leader Charlie Bradberry. Kevin Prince earned his first career Bud Pole Award when he turned in a fast lap of 14.418 Secs (887.560 mph) but started eighth due to the series inversion procedure. Dusty Williams was the recipient of Prince's draw putting him at the point with Bradberry outside front row.

Finishing behind the winner was Victory Circle Chassis Rookie-of-the-Year contender Wakefield, rookie contender Cecil Chunn, points leader Bradberry and rookie contender Terry Mason Jr. Fultz set a new race record with a speed of 66.832 mph.
