Carswell Motorsports prepares for NASCAR sanctioned action at Nashville Superspeedway this weekend
(Woodstock, GA) In just his second NASCAR Kodak Southeast Series start, Justin Wakefield piloted his #98 Ford Taurus to a 9th place finish at Big Daddy's South Boston Speedway for the NASCAR Elite Division, Kodak Southeast Series Armed Forces 150 presented by Coors Light. This was Wakefield's first time traveling to Big Daddy's South Boston Speedway and the trip proved successful for the Georgia native and Carswell Motorsports.
"I am very thrilled with my finish at South Boston Speedway," states Wakefield. "The track was real racy, and I was racing someone about every lap. All in all, it was a great weekend, and I am very much looking forward to my superspeedway debut at Nashville Superspeedway this weekend," concludes Justin.
Justin and Carswell Motorsports will travel to Nashville, TN this weekend for the 100 lap NASCAR Kodak Southeast Series sanctioned event at Nashville Superspeedway. This Friday's event at Nashville Superspeedway will be televised on Fox Sports Net during the week of June 16-22. Wakefield and team have been working hard since their return from South Boston, VA in preparations for this weekend's event at Nashville Superspeedway.
"We have been working nonstop on the car to get it ready for this weekend," commented Justin. "We worked Monday night until midnight making the necessary changes for a superspeedway. Jody Ridley's assistance as my crew chief has been very much a huge help in our racing program, and I am ready to go racing again this weekend," concluded Wakefield.
