EVENT REVIEW: Wayne Anderson hit a triple triple in this event last fall winning his third race of the 2000 campaign and he earned his third Bud pole of 2000. Anderson was definitely the dominate car leading 189 of the 200-laps run. Anderson took the lead from outside front row starter Jeff Fultz as the two cars went door handle to door handle for the first lap finally taking the points as they crossed the start/finish line on lap one. Anderson maintained his lead until he pitted on lap 128 for fresh Hoosier shoes along with other top cars except for Fultz and A. J. Frank who pitted earlier in the race. Anderson regained the top spot on lap 141. Another top car was Scott Kilby's who was also moving to the front until his car and Fultz's made contact with Kilby's car spinning and hitting the outside wall. Three other cars, Casey Yunick, Kevin Prince and Ryan Crane were also involved trying to avoid the Kilby car. One final caution period interrupted Anderson's march to his third win however he was able to hold off Billy Bigley Jr., Brian Smith, Fultz and David Reutimann for the win.
